Healing often unfolds in complex and non-linear ways, often accompanied by emotions like grief and shame. I chose the path of a therapist to assist you in extending compassion to those parts of yourself and acknowledging that you did your best with the resources available at the time. My approach is highly personalized, recognizing the unique needs of each individual. I place great emphasis on building a strong and compassionate therapeutic connection, primarily drawing from trauma-informed and client-centered models. My toolkit encompasses a wide range of approaches, including elements of emotion-focused, narrative, dialectical behavioral, internal family systems, mindfulness, attachment, strengths and resiliency-based, and somatic techniques. My core focus is on addressing issues in the present moment and dissecting the beliefs, emotions, and behaviors entwined with each challenge.. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, feel in control of your emotions and feelings, and help you live your life from a congruent and authentic place.

Get To Know Me Personally

  • I prioritize spending time with loved ones, going on big walks with my dog, and attempting to paint watercolour.

  • Becoming a counselor was born from my personal experience as a teenager, where I faced with intense emotions and strong reactions. It was during this time that I encountered therapy and, by forming a connection with a compassionate and affirming therapist, I felt truly listened to, acknowledged, and valued. My own life journey inspired me to be a source of support for others, to lend a compassionate ear, and to have the privilege of walking alongside them as they navigate the complexities of their own experiences.

  • I take pride in my resilience. Throughout my personal life journey, I feel a sense of accomplishment for the small yet significant strides I've taken, even when faced with uncertainty, as well as for embracing major life transitions and successfully navigating the inherent discomfort that change can bring. The ability to look back and contemplate both my achievements and my healing process is truly rewarding.

  • I wanted to run an animal rescue centre!

  • In my personal life, I spend time outside walking with a coffee in hand saying hello to every dog that passes by. I am a collector of plants, rescue cats and consider myself a hot chocolate enthusiast.

  • It’s important that you feel supported while navigating the ebbs and flows of life. With curious attention and compassion, I aim to create a space for you to feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe that our feelings hold messages we need to hear. If we ignore them, they keep popping up and create more issues in our relationships, work-life, school life, physical health, and self-esteem. In therapy, we create space to understand and hear what these feelings are telling us as well as develop skills and access insights that make navigating life easier. I am here to support you and provide a kind, compassionate safe space to explore, find clarity, and reconnect with your authentic self.

  • One of the most rewarding aspects of being a counselor is witnessing the transformation and growth in clients I work with. I feel incredibly grateful to watch my clients overcome their unique challenges, gain insights into their personal journey, and find the strength and resillence required to live an authentic life. It’s truly an honour to be a part of their journey.

  • Warm, non-judgmental, kind, and they’ve told me they value the connection we have.

  • “So often, when we feel lost, adrift in our lives, our first instinct is to look out into the distance to find the nearest shore. But that shore, that solid ground, is within us. The anchor we are searching for is connection, and it is internal.“
