Asking for help can be challenging, especially when navigating life's difficulties. I offer a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with an encouragement-based style. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take control of your journey. I also incorporate art therapy as a unique tool to help bring unconscious feelings and experiences to the surface, allowing for deeper self-expression and healing. I believe in celebrating every milestone—big or small—and fostering an environment where you can express your authentic self. Having personal experience with many of the issues I work with, I can truly empathize with the struggles you or your child may face. I’m here to guide you toward healing, growth, and empowerment, offering support every step of the way.

I had a difficult upbringing, and during my teenage years, I struggled with my mental health. At 15, I underwent major spine surgery that required me to learn how to walk again and become comfortable in my body. I vividly remember two nurses who patiently taught me to walk again. Their positive encouragement, attention, and care during such a challenging time gave me a sense of support I hadn’t felt before.
That experience opened my eyes to the profound impact that support and encouragement can have on someone's healing process. It was then that I realized how powerful it is to offer others that same level of care during their struggles. That realization is what inspired me to pursue a career as a counsellor.

I’m proud of who I am. For a long time, I tried to hide or change parts of myself, but learning to fully accept who I am—with all my flaws and beauties—has been truly transformative. Loving yourself unconditionally and embracing your authentic self is something to always be proud of. It’s an amazing feeling to finally accept and appreciate yourself for who you truly are.

I wanted to be a veterinarian because of my love of animals.

When I’m not counselling, I’m a daughter, a friend, a fur-baby mom, and a partner. I enjoy playing video games and board games, and I practice jiu-jitsu, even helping teach kids and parents on weekends. I love to travel and explore new places—bonus points if there’s somewhere I can swim!

Counselling is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength. It takes courage and self-awareness to admit when we need help. Pushing down our pain doesn’t allow us to heal—the only way out is through. Experiencing negative feelings is not a bad thing; emotions exist for a reason, and it’s important to feel all of them. I congratulate you for taking this step in your journey of healing and self-improvement.

I love watching people better their lives and make choices that are best for them. It’s truly amazing to witness their growth as they create boundaries, safety, security, and happiness for themselves. I find joy in seeing others feel comfortable in the space, able to show their true, authentic selves without any expectations.
