Hi there! I’m Dylan (she/her), and my journey as a therapist is deeply rooted in my belief that every person’s unique experiences and identities shape how they engage with the world. My approach is client-centred and strengths-based, integrating elements of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and self-compassion. I’m passionate about supporting clients in their healing journeys and providing a safe and non-judgmental space for exploration. I specialize in helping adults navigate a range of challenges, including anxiety and perfectionism, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, stress management, chronic health issues, identity exploration, and neurodivergent identity support - particularly for those who are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or gifted. My work is guided by a trauma-informed, culture-infused, and queer- and neurodivergent-affirming framework. This allows me to tailor my counselling approach to the specific needs of each client, honouring their individuality and experiences.

Get To Know Me Personally

  • I love moving my body, being in nature and spending quality time with my friends and family.

  • I’ve always felt a strong desire to understand and connect with people in a deep and meaningful way. Facing challenges in my own life has shaped my perspective around the importance of compassion, connection and community.

  • Taking a risk by quitting my job and pursuing graduate studies during the pandemic. It was a challenging time marked with so much uncertainty, and I’m grateful to have had the support of my family, friends and colleagues.

  • A psychologist! I’ve always been passionate about understanding and supporting people.

  • I spend my time trying new recipes and restaurants, listening to podcasts, hiking with my dog, Stanley, and enjoying good food with friends.

  • It’s okay to feel like you don’t know where to start! I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful change. Together, we can explore your unique story and cultivate the strengths that will help you thrive.

  • Getting to connect with clients in a meaningful way. I feel truly honoured and grateful to work in this field and witness the depth of people’s experiences.

  • Non-judgmental, calming and warm.

  • “To be human is to be imperfect. It means that we all go through struggles and challenges, and it’s essential to treat ourselves with the same kindness we would offer to a friend during difficult times.”
