I am passionate about helping people navigate their unique struggles and find healing. I am a compassionate and dedicated counsellor with a deep commitment to supporting clients along their journey and through different phases of life. I create a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel seen, heard, and respected as they are. My approach combines client-centred principles with evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, CBT, and DBT to help individuals navigate various life challenges, rise above past wounds, and build a resilient self. My goal is to offer not only a listening ear but also provide clients with practical tools and strategies to help them move forward with confidence.

Get To Know Me Personally

  • I prioritize physical exercise, spending time with loved ones, and cooking & eating yummy food.

  • As an adolescent, I met with various compassionate counsellors who supported me to become a better version of myself. These experiences paired with my innate compassion for others, I eventually began my journey of becoming a clinical counsellor. Through my work with clients, I have become even more passionate about offering others support and skills to overcome life’s challenges and become the best version of themselves.

  • I have learned that there is strength in embracing vulnerability. I do not always have to be perfect or right; I simply need to acknowledge my humanness and try my best.

  • I wanted to be a marine biologist! Chemistry just was not for me.

  • I’m spending time with my husband and two cats. I enjoy hiking, yoga, camping, and trying new recipes.

  • Healing is not a linear process; it’s a journey with ups and downs, twists and turns. There are moments of progress and times when it feels like you're taking steps backward. This is all a natural part of the process. Healing doesn’t follow a set timeline or path—it unfolds in its own unique way for each person. The important thing is to trust the process, be patient with yourself, and remember healing is a journey. Each step, no matter how big, small, or challenging, is a step toward a brighter, healthier future.

  • Building genuine relationships with clients is one of my favourite things about being a counsellor. I have witnessed firsthand, that when clients feel understood and valued, they are more open to exploring their emotions, facing challenges, and making lasting changes. I am honoured to have witnessed clients discover their own strength, resilience, and create a more fulfilling life.

  • Calm, non-judgmental, compassionate, supportive, and they’ve told me that they trust that I can handle anything they share and have experienced.

  • “Strength does not come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”

Throughout the counselling process, I see strength in my clients multiply as they learn new skills and rise above challenging life experiences.
