In my practice, I primarily use Narrative Therapy (NT), which focuses on empowering you to re-author your life story, raising self-awareness, resilience, and positive change. I believe that while societal structures and norms can be oppressive, recognizing yourself as the expert in your own life is the first step towards healing. Together, we'll explore the stories you tell about yourself and your experiences while acknowledging the impact of broader societal and cultural narratives. I aim to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can center yourself and discover your true self. I deeply respect the diversity of each individual and am committed to supporting your journey of transformation, honouring your core values and uniqueness as you move toward healing and empowerment.

Get To Know Me Personally

  • Keeping a routine and maintaining a good life balance (e.g., sleep cycle, healthy diet, exercise & walking, finding daily victories). And most importantly, having good talks and laughs with my people.

  • I have lost important people in my life due to societal oppression. I want to alleviate the pain that people face and support them in separating themselves from socially constructed narratives that are often accepted as common knowledge.

  • I’m proud of not giving up on my dream. It was a daunting journey to become a clinical counsellor in another country. I faced numerous risks by not following the socially set life timeline, which brought negative judgments from others and labels of failure. However, I’m glad I listened to my own aspirations, as it has allowed me to support people, for which I am deeply grateful.

  • I wanted to be a flight attendant because I had always dreamed of travelling around the world.

  • I go for walks along the seashore to watch other people’s dogs playfully running around. (I plan to adopt a dog and raise it as a therapy dog in a near future!) I also practice my French and piano. I enjoy sunbathing and reading on my balcony, chatting with my friends at a café, beach, or park.

  • If you are new to counselling, you might feel a bit anxious about starting. Even reaching out to us might be overwhelming for you. I would like to gently encourage you to take that first step because you may find a sense of relief once you enter this supportive space. We are here to make you feel safe, allowing you to be fully yourself. There is no judgement or oppression in this space and we will walk alongside you.

  • I am honoured to hear my clients’ stories. Each of them has a masterpiece life story, and I always enjoy witnessing them taking strong steps toward healing.

  • Empathetic, non-judgmental, and warm.

  • “The wall that used to be your barrier will be your protection once you get to the other side.”

“Don’t seek right or wrong; seek kindness and everything will be soothed.”

“Everyone is off from the norm. Embrace your differences and be yourself!”

“Don’t let anyone control your life story. Your life is your own story to write.”

“You are not the problem; the problem is the problem.”
